About the Role

The incumbent is responsible for accurately and efficiently answering and scheduling patient appointments, requiring high-level problem-solving and analytical skills with the highest ethical standards. The role demands self-direction, motivation, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with high productivity and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • High volume appointment scheduling and phone calls.
  • Schedule appointments following protocols.
  • Obtain, verify and input all information accurately into scheduling system.
  • Conduct insurance verification.
  • Provide customer service to patients.
  • Demonstrate courteous and professional behavior when dealing with patients.
  • Resolve patient inquiries or escalate for solution.
  • Routing calls to proper departments.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent typing skills and friendly telephone etiquette.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
