About the Role
The Manager IT Audit role offers the opportunity to actively shape the further development of our IT Audit department. You will contribute your own ideas, take responsibility for demanding mandates, and work closely with a small team and colleagues from Financial Audit.
Responsibilities
- Further development and expansion of our IT Audit offering together with Audit Partners and the existing team
- Technical management, coaching, and further development of a small, specialized IT Audit team
- Close collaboration with the Financial Audit department on annual financial statement and group audits
- Independent execution, management, and quality assurance of demanding IT audits
- Advising clients on IT risks, governance, compliance, and control issues
- Further development of existing services related to IT Audit and digital auditing topics
- Support in client development and identification of new business opportunities
- Monitoring technological and regulatory developments and their integration into modern auditing approaches
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Business Informatics, Informatics, Auditing, Business Administration, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in IT Audit, ideally in an auditing or consulting firm
- Degree as a certified auditor (m/f/d), ideally supplemented by qualifications such as CISA or IT Auditor IDW
- Experience in the technical management, support, or development of employees
- Good knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks such as IDW auditing standards, ISAE 3402, COBIT, or ISO 27001
- Understanding of the interface between IT Audit and Financial Audit
- Enjoyment of building and developing services
- High client orientation and confident demeanor at various decision-making levels
- Initiative, strong communication skills, pragmatism, and hands-on mentality
