About the Role

DiBella’s is seeking a dedicated Baker Associate to bake our signature Italian bread, ensuring it looks and tastes great for every guest. This role requires punctuality, dependability, and a positive attitude, with the opportunity to also provide excellent customer service and prepare food items when not baking.

Responsibilities

• Bake bread according to the DiBella’s Bread Manual procedures.
• Follow location par lists for daily baking quantities.
• Maintain bakery cleanliness and organization, reporting equipment deficiencies.
• Utilize safety equipment to ensure crew and guest safety.
• Prepare and serve menu items following portion guidelines.
• Properly set up deli products including cheeses, meats, breads, condiments, sauces, napkins, and wrap paper.
• Prepare hot and cold sandwiches as requested by customers.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Ensure cleanliness of grills, deli counter, counter sink, and other areas.
• Develop an efficient work pace to handle busy periods.
• Fulfill all assigned shift duties.
• Maintain sanitary and orderly customer-viewed and food storage areas meeting Health Department standards.
• Comply with Health Department Regulations.
• Increase product knowledge over time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers.

Requirements

• Standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. required frequently.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as the baking manual.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, balance friendliness with efficiency, and maintain focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
