About the Role

As a CDL Driver for ABC Supply, America's largest wholesale distributor of building products, you will ensure the safety of each delivery from the facility to the job site. This role offers professional driving opportunities with a nationally established company, allowing you to be home every night.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely.
• Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with the camera phone system.
• Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set materials and unload them.
• Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork precisely and timely.
• Provide the customer with an invoice upon completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading materials onto or off of trucks or into the warehouse as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid CDL – Class B.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens.
• This position does not require over the road travel.

Skills

• Flatbed truck experience is preferred.
• Knuckle boom truck experience is preferred.
• Hazmat endorsement is preferred.
