About the Role
As a Service Technician I at MKS Instruments, you will partner with service to test and troubleshoot RF products, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug RF products.
- Conduct in-house servicing and repair of RF products, addressing complex mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
- Analyze and implement solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, including test results, service reports, and customer communications.
- Provide guidance and training to junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in electronics or a related field from a two-year college, military program, or equivalent work experience.
- 0+ years of experience in servicing and repairing RF products or related electronic equipment.
- Proficiency in using RF test equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electronic systems.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
