About the Role
As a Portfolio Manager within the Commercial Operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the visibility, health, and progress of our program portfolio. You will leverage AI and automation to enhance efficiency and improve data quality in daily operations, contributing to smarter ways of working.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the Commercial Operations portfolio view, ensuring accuracy of structure, categories, and program records.
- Support portfolio governance forums by preparing materials and tracking actions.
- Assist with intake and reprioritization of new requests and changes to existing programs.
- Align programs and milestones to TPA priorities and company-level scorecards.
- Track portfolio health, including RAG status, timelines, scope, and benefits, and follow up on issues.
- Ensure programs adhere to lifecycle standards for charters, stage gates, launch criteria, and closure.
- Coordinate program kick-off and stage-gate reviews.
- Track cross-team dependencies and escalate conflicts.
- Maintain clear KPIs and financial outcomes for programs.
- Support portfolio review rhythms by coordinating data updates and producing readouts.
- Translate performance data into narratives and options for leadership.
- Drive the use of AI in portfolio reporting and operations, including AI-assisted report generation and AI-powered dashboards.
- Partner with internal teams to test and adopt portfolio-specific AI agents.
- Track the impact of AI on portfolio operations and share learnings.
- Act as a point of coordination for program teams and the Director on portfolio status and actions.
- Connect teams and programs to ensure alignment on goals and timelines.
- Provide clear, outcome-centered communication tailored to different audiences.
- Build and maintain a central portfolio hub as the single source of truth for portfolio data.
Requirements
- Experienced portfolio/program professional with 6+ years in portfolio management, program management, PMO, or operations roles supporting complex, cross-functional programs in a global environment.
- Track record of keeping multi-team programs on track from planning through delivery with clear business outcomes.
- Strong organization and coordination skills to manage multiple components and maintain data accuracy.
- Comfortable working with data, scorecards, and KPIs, including defining metrics and turning analysis into recommendations.
- Hands-on experience using AI and automation in daily work.
