About the Role

DO & CO is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and eager Warehouse Helper in New York to join their team and contribute to their passion for hospitality culinary delights.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify local airline deliveries, ensuring items match invoices and delivery orders.
  • Assist with monthly inventories, monitor stock levels, and report material shortages, excesses, or deviations to the supervisor.
  • Organize airline job requisitions as instructed by warehouse management.
  • Load and unload designated vehicles and perform other operational tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
  • Keep products separated, organized, and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Follow company guidelines for storage and warehousing.
  • Ensure timely preparation of flight equipment and beverages for drivers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

  • All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location.
  • Meet all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR §1542.209.
  • Obtain the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
  • Strong ability to manage a heavy workload and handle physical demands, including lifting, and carrying.
  • Proactive and highly organized.
  • Capable of working independently and within a team.
  • Excellent time management to meet strict deadlines.
  • Skilled in multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on approach with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
