About the Role

As an AI Controls Enablement Vice President, you will translate complex AI risks into practical business and controls solutions. You will work at the intersection of Controls, Business, and Technology, partnering with stakeholders to identify risks, develop scalable solutions, and strengthen control environments. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence AI adoption across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct joint risk reviews with Control Managers, bringing technical expertise.
  • Act as a co-developer, coach, and gatekeeper across Controls, Technology, and the business.
  • Make technical AI concepts understandable and actionable.
  • Contribute to the future of AI-enabled controls.
  • Influence how Controls builds and deploys AI-enabled solutions for the business.
  • Deliver creative and sustainable solutions through cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Requirements

  • Experience in risk or control management within financial services, focusing on compliance and operational risk mitigation.
  • Technical AI fluency with an understanding of AI model mechanics, assumptions, limitations, and failure modes.
  • Ability to translate complex technical AI behavior into documented, actionable risk findings within a controls framework.
  • Capability to implement robust controls to safeguard business operations and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in process and data analysis to enhance control environments and interpret business needs and trends.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including effective communication and collaboration with senior Controls leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) for developing executive presentations.
