About the Role

Coverdale Clinics is seeking a registered nurse to join their dynamic team, focusing on patient-centered care with a maximum patient-to-nurse ratio of 3:1. The role offers regular treatment intervals, strong patient relationships, and an exceptional work-life balance compared to traditional hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer specialized IV and Injection therapies.
• Receive and review physician's orders.
• Enhance patient assessments and care techniques.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor client conditions.
• Observe, document, and respond to changes in health status according to Coverdale Infusion Clinics Inc. standards.
• Provide direction, support, and delegation to Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses.
• Foster a collaborative environment through effective communication and shared patient care goals.
• Participate in ongoing education and skill development.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Experience in ICU and/or ER is considered an asset.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current registration in good standing with the provincial licensing body.
• Training and experience in the preparation and administration of medications via all routes.
• Excellent intravenous skills.
• Ability to think outside the box when addressing patient care challenges.
• Able to read and interpret technical instructions related to client care.
• Strong observational skills to visually and auditorily assess clients.
• Training and experience with CVADs is beneficial.
• Background in biologics/infusions enhances analytical capabilities.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment.

• Base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range based on local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
