About the Role

Hudson Vets Tarrytown is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our brand-new small animal hospital opening in early 2027. This is a rare opportunity to help build a practice from the ground up alongside our founding Medical Director. You'll have a voice in shaping our culture, standards of medicine, workflows, and client experience while practicing in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility designed for collaboration and future growth. You'll provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats while practicing progressive, fear-free medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats.
• Practice progressive, fear-free medicine.
• Help shape the culture, standards of medicine, workflows, and client experience.
• Practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine.
• Handle Fear Free patient interactions.
• Communicate treatment recommendations with confidence.
• Collaborate with referrals to leading specialty hospitals when advanced care is needed.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active (or eligible) veterinary license in the State of New York.

• 20% Pro-Sal model with no negative accrual
