About the Role

We are looking for a Barista to join our support function team, serving coffee and supporting food service in our restaurant. We seek a confident individual with basic latte art skills and a passion for coffee and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Delight customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks.
  • Share menu information and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and surrounding areas.
  • Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines.
  • Monitor stock levels and restock supplies.
  • Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista.
  • Basic latte art skills (e.g., hearts).
  • Team player with great customer service skills.
  • Organized and efficient with good timing.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Good listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to adapt to challenges with a solution-oriented perspective.
  • Previous experience in food service is a plus.
  • Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
