About the Role
We are looking for a Barista to join our support function team, serving coffee and supporting food service in our restaurant. We seek a confident individual with basic latte art skills and a passion for coffee and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Delight customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner.
- Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks.
- Share menu information and provide recommendations to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and surrounding areas.
- Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and restock supplies.
- Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
- Assist with other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista.
- Basic latte art skills (e.g., hearts).
- Team player with great customer service skills.
- Organized and efficient with good timing.
- Can-do attitude.
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Good work ethic.
- Good listening and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to adapt to challenges with a solution-oriented perspective.
- Previous experience in food service is a plus.
- Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
