About the Role
The M&A Technology team in London is seeking to hire an Analyst to support the origination and execution of transactions.
Responsibilities
- Support with the origination and execution of transactions, typically reporting to an Associate or Vice President.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations ('pitches').
- Research public company and transaction multiples to support valuation of companies.
- Support the drafting of information memoranda.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights.
- Conduct industry research, including collecting information on target companies, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
- Provide administrative support, including meeting agendas, meeting notes, and management of deal Q&A.
Requirements
- Experience in an accounting firm, preferably financial due diligence, or at least six months' experience in an investment bank or boutique M&A firm.
- Solid financial knowledge, including accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, and company valuation methods.
- Strong analytical skills, enabling autonomous work and teamwork.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to excellence.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage professional relationships.
- Excellent timekeeping and commitment to delivering tasks on time.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Comfortable with IT tools relevant to the role.
