About the Role
DOCS Dental is expanding and seeking compassionate dental professionals to serve families on military bases. Experience professional growth while making a difference in a family-oriented environment with cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities
- Clean teeth and remove deposits beneath gum margins.
- Identify and assess conditions such as gingivitis and periodontitis.
- Apply fluoride and other agents to prevent cavities.
- Chart conditions for diagnosis and assist the dentist with treatment planning.
- Present treatment plans and educate patients on oral health maintenance.
- Take dental x-rays, impressions, and keep accurate patient records.
- Build rapport with patients and communicate effectively.
- Participate in daily and weekly team huddles.
Requirements
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license.
- 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene.
- X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Extensive HIPAA knowledge.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Real ID prior to starting.
- Must undergo background check (including criminal record check) and drug screening if a conditional offer of employment is made.
- Must be eligible to work in the US and participate in E-Verify.
