About the Role
Seasonal Loading Dock team members play an essential role in the US Open experience by delivering packages and mail to all USTA offices and departments.
Responsibilities
- Unload UPS, FedEx, DHL and all private carrier trucks daily
- Assist in inventory management by utilizing shipping/receiving software
- Organize incoming and outgoing mail
- Clean and organize the USTA Loading Dock and other areas as directed
- Operate hand truck and flatbeds safely
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Basic proficiency in computers and ability to learn the inventory management software
- Ability to lift 50lbs+
- Punctual and presentable shift attendance, neatly groomed in a clean, well-maintained uniform
- Must maintain a positive demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Available to work the full duration of the US Open tournament and be available days, nights, weekends and extended hours
- Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Valid Driver’s License and Forklift Operator experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
