About the Role

NextEra Energy is seeking a technically skilled leader to manage a portfolio of new and developing solar and storage assets across the Midwest and Northeast regions of the United States. The individual will lead a team of technicians in the daily operations and maintenance of solar and storage assets, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and key performance indicators are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians in the daily operations and maintenance of solar and storage assets.
• Ensure the safety of all personnel and environmental compliance with all required regulatory permits.
• Deliver on key performance indicators including availability, production, and cost.
• Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, central organization support teams, vendors, and OEMs to advance organizational goals.
• Ensure all safety, environmental, performance, and budget targets are met.
• Develop and grow the team and business.
• Oversee and approve procurement activities of the sites.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Ensures all business activities are conducted following corporate policies and are in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal permits, codes, standards, and regulations.
• Develops multi-year Operations and Maintenance budgets.
• Ensures all budget targets are met.

Requirements

• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
• 5+ years of experience
• 2+ years of Supervisor/Management Experience
