About the Role
As a server, you will welcome guests, recommend food and drink, and help maintain service standards. By tailoring each guest's experience, you will create delightful memories.
Responsibilities
- Make each meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the taste buds.
- Maintain high standards to create memorable meals for every guest.
- Keep track of supplies and equipment and minimize waste.
- Report unsafe equipment, low supplies, and safety incidents to a Supervisor or Duty Manager.
- Help create a safe space by following safety procedures and wearing necessary protective equipment.
- Meet or exceed local cleanliness and hygiene laws.
- Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed.
- Enhance guest experience by assisting with queries or providing advice.
- Wear uniform with pride.
- Take on other ad-hoc duties when the team needs to pull together.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and bar areas by wiping down surfaces, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing menus, clearing dirty dishes, removing spills, and ensuring overall tidiness, often while actively serving customers.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Availability nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate in English with guests and hotel personnel.
- Ability to provide legible communication.
- Ability to accurately compute mathematical calculations.
