About the Role

Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering graduates to join our Austin South, Texas (TX) office in 2027. This role involves contributing to civil engineering design, planning, and analysis for diverse projects, utilizing technical software, and collaborating across disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and client practices.
  • Learn discipline-specific software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS.

Requirements

  • An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.
  • Majors accepted include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, and Engineering Technology.
