About the Role

Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering graduates to join our Austin East, Texas office in 2027. This role involves contributing to pre-construction civil engineering design and analysis for diverse projects.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and client practices.
  • Learn and utilize discipline-specific software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS.

Requirements

  • ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.
  • Majors accepted: Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Technology.
