About the Role
Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering students for a summer 2027 internship in Austin South, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, produce, and quality control deliverables using technical software.
- Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, and company/client standards.
- Learn discipline-specific software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters).
- Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Technology.
