About the Role
Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering students to join our Austin East, Texas (TX) office to contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for various projects.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC client deliverables.
- Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and client practices.
- Learn discipline-specific software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS.
Requirements
- In the process of receiving an ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
