About the Role
Plans, directs, and executes regional sales strategies through a network of manufacturers’ representatives to achieve established revenue, market share, and growth objectives. Manages key strategic accounts, cultivates customer relationships, and negotiates complex sales agreements. Provides leadership and coaching to manufacturers’ representatives, acting as the primary liaison between customers and internal factory teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and maintain a high-performing manufacturers’ representative network.
- Implement and execute regional sales strategies and programs.
- Establish sales targets and performance expectations for manufacturers’ representatives.
- Develop, recommend, and administer sales policies, procedures, pricing programs, discount structures, and commercial terms.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate regular sales meetings, training sessions, and business reviews.
- Strengthen customer relationships and expand market presence through executive-level presentations, trade shows, and customer visits.
- Prepare and provide accurate monthly sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business performance reports.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, customer support, operations, and product management.
- Travel approximately 25% to 40% of the time to support representative development, customer engagement, and business development activities.
- Participate in company-sponsored meetings, factory training programs, sales conferences, and other professional development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required (approximately 10+ years)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management capacity, strongly preferred
