About the Role
The Regional Director will lead a regional sales team in achieving assigned goals and objectives, ensuring compliance with company policies. This role involves managing Medical Specialists and driving sales performance within the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales performance objectives.
- Ensuring specific account action plans align with strategic brand initiatives.
- Leading regional sales force activities including hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluation, and development.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Communicating expectations for utilization of approved promotional resources.
- Ensuring employees are trained on and effectively implementing customer education.
- Communicating current industry and competitor product knowledge to regional teams.
- Ensuring appropriate engagement in industry-related meetings and conferences.
- Analyzing sales and customer data to ensure appropriate resource deployment.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to develop business strategies.
- Establishing cross-functional partnerships and leveraging regional resources to influence customer behavior.
- Overseeing customer relationships and managing critical relationships with current and potential customers.
- Building and sustaining relationships with therapeutic leaders within the region.
Requirements
- Must be based in, or located in close proximity to the assigned Region (relocation will not be provided).
- Ability to travel (60-65%).
Skills
- Experience in Biologics and buy and bill products or strong relevant experience in the Retina field required.

Experience Level
- Minimum 10 years’ experience from within a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of regional and/or line sales management experience preferred.

Salary/Compensations
- $212,500.00 - $287,500.00
