About the Role
Responsible for cleaning performance at an agency site, with potential for supervisory duties and training responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise as needed and develop task schedules for workers engaged in custodial services.
- Maintain cleaning standards following the site scope of work.
- Perform restroom cleaning, trash removal, sweeping, wet mopping, dusting, and vacuuming as assigned.
- Operate high and low speed maintenance equipment and perform carpet cleaning as assigned.
- Monitor equipment usage and report malfunctions or problems to the supervisor.
- Address work quality issues and other concerns effectively and in a timely manner.
- Provide leadership by example, demonstrating punctuality and exceptional attendance.
- Communicate with the Supervisor, QC Manager, and Contracts Manager on a regular basis.
- Adhere to all Agency Policies and Procedures.
- Support the goals, objectives, and philosophy of the agency.
- Comply with CQL, Justice Center, HIPAA, and Corporate Compliance regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be knowledgeable and capable of performing cleaning and disinfecting.
- Must be willing to act as a Supervisor as needed.
- Must be willing to train custodial staff and/or people with disabilities.
- A valid New York State Driver’s License is required.
- Must provide own transportation to and from worksite.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
