About the Role

Wilde is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations in a fast-paced, evolving aparthotel environment. This role is crucial for ensuring guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all maintenance department resources and team members, optimizing work through scheduling.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to ensure rooms are in excellent condition for guests.
  • Support planned maintenance and perform hands-on reactive maintenance.
  • Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly quality and safety checks.
  • Supervise and participate in preventive and curative maintenance of premises and equipment.
  • Promote and contribute to internal environmental protection measures.
  • Manage department stocks and purchasing of equipment and supplies.
  • Assist the General Manager with maintenance and capital investment budgets.
  • Approve work performed, ensuring costs are reasonable and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and control building systems.
  • Report and reduce potential and real hazards immediately.
  • Analyze and resolve guest complaints in conjunction with the General Manager.
  • Operate in accordance with environmental and social sustainability criteria.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador, representing Wilde with pride.
  • Strive for excellence and set ambitious goals.
  • Seek opportunities to innovate and improve.
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, and kindness.
  • Engage with the community through local charity events and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous relevant experience and up-to-date knowledge of country/property-specific maintenance, safety, and health regulations in a similar environment or property/hotel.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
