About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Services Technician to join our Oakthorpe dairy engineering team. This role involves maintaining services across the site and providing corrective maintenance for equipment failure and breakdowns.
Responsibilities
- Maintain services across the site in line with the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme.
- Provide corrective maintenance for site equipment failure and breakdown, including industrial steam boilers, waste heat boilers, refrigeration plants, DAF plants, hot & cold water systems, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct equipment and plant condition appraisals.
- Work alongside OEMs during services.
- Maintain awareness of relevant QEHS compliance, including Legionella, fire safety, PSSR, and LOTO.
- Authorise permits and ensure work is carried out safely and in a controlled manner.
Requirements
- Experience in both reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
- Background in working within regulated environments.
- Previous experience in Hard FM or similar site services roles.
- Positive and resilient approach to problem-solving, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with HV/LV systems is highly desirable.
