About the Role
The Night Cleaner plays a key role in ensuring all property areas remain spotless, hygienic, and well-presented for members, guests, and staff. Working during overnight hours, you will carry out cleaning duties in public areas, restaurants, bars, offices, and back-of-house spaces to maintain the highest cleanliness standards. The Night Cleaner will work independently or as part of a small overnight team, ensuring the property is ready for the next day’s operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, offices, back-of-house spaces, restrooms, restaurants, and bars overnight.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, polish, and sanitise surfaces to required standards.
- Deep clean areas not possible during daytime service hours (e.g., kitchens, carpets, event spaces).
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials where required.
- Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Follow health & safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Report maintenance issues or hazards identified during night shifts.
- Support with waste management and recycling processes.
- Work discreetly and professionally in member and guest-facing areas.
Requirements
- Up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue preferred.
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliability, discretion, and a professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
