About the Role
This is a fast-paced, exciting, and challenging position for a Parts Counterperson to support the Parts Manager. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people and possesses strong selling skills, both in-person and over the phone. The facility is nice and the environment is clean.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer questions and take sales orders via phone and email.
- Promptly fill parts requests for technicians.
- Order parts, maintain stock, search for information in catalogs and computer databases, and handle payments.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical exertion as needed.
Requirements
- Dealership and CDK/ADP experience preferred.
- Ability to explain technical information to the general public.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of auto parts and experience in an automotive repair or related business environment is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Availability to work some Saturdays.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- A stable work history and excellent references are required.
