About the Role
Our F&B Service Experts create memorable and unique guest experiences, going beyond just serving food and drinks. They take initiative to provide a wide range of services, from setting tables and communicating with the kitchen to interacting with guests and maintaining a clean work environment, ensuring every transaction is part of the overall experience.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for and maintain an exceptionally high standard of five-star luxury lifestyle service within the Food & Beverage operation.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the discipline at all times and advocate this as best practice.
- Proactively learn new menu items, beverage items, and changes in service standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company Food Safety Programs and all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Report maintenance issues immediately to appropriate personnel.
- Possess essential product (food & beverage), menu, operational, food hygiene, and service knowledge.
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and on-brand attitude, grooming standard, body language, and tone at all times.
- Attend monthly departmental meetings and 1:1s.
- Carry out other duties as required by the F&B Management team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering excellence in customer service.
- Knowledge of overall hotel operations is essential.
- L2 Food Hygiene is preferred, and candidates should work towards achieving it if they do not hold a certification.
