About the Role

As European Chief Technologist in our Solution Area Datacenter, you will set the strategic direction for one or more technology areas, contributing to keeping our portfolio, partner alignment, and customer loyalty relevant, differentiated, and growth-oriented. This is a rare opportunity to make a decisive impact by shaping and influencing technology strategy at a European level and how a leading technology and services provider responds to market changes.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the vision and strategy for the Solution Area Datacenter across Europe.
Identify market changes, customer needs, and competitor trends, translating them into actionable priorities and roadmaps.
Shape portfolio direction and investment plans in collaboration with Service Line teams and other stakeholders.
Lead and influence virtual teams across countries and service lines to align strategy, priorities, and execution.
Represent the technology area in European steering committees and executive forums.
Develop compelling thought leadership, customer messaging, and strategic assets to support sales and growth.
Collaborate with customers, partners, and analysts to strengthen Computacenter's market position and strategic relevance.
Support key business opportunities across the company by sharing insights, alignment, and technological expertise.

Requirements

Extensive experience in the IT industry, particularly in the Datacenter Solution Area, combined with sound technical knowledge and business acumen.
Proven ability to develop technology strategies, visions, and roadmaps in a complex business environment.
Experience working with matrix structures and leading virtual teams through influence.
Confident interaction with senior stakeholders, customers, and partners.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear strategic guidance.
Strategic thinking, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the credibility to take on challenges, influence, and drive alignment.
Excellent communication skills in English.
