About the Role
Transport UK London Bus is seeking innovative, self-starting individuals with a passion for the bus industry to join their Engineering teams as Advanced Engineers (HGV/PSV Technician level 3). This role offers a competitive wage and the opportunity to have half the year off, with voluntary overtime available to further boost earnings.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining buses.
- Investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults.
- Recording faults and repair work using a tablet.
- Following safety instructions and reporting issues.
Requirements
- NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or equivalent international qualification).
- Good standard of Maths and English.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and service manuals.
- Proficiency in using fleet management technical computer systems.
- Teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work flexibly.
- Willingness to undertake training.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative.
