About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our growing Commercial Product team, creating and improving customer-led features and journeys in renewable energy services. You'll strike the balance between customer needs and commercial outcomes, using data, competitor insight, and a strong sense of ROI to decide what's worth building. This role covers a full end-to-end experience with some external integrations on web and app.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with the engineering team and product design to keep existing services optimized and running to meet customer needs.
  • Creating and executing epics and stories as part of product management for existing features as well as new ones, using AI tools to prototype concepts, accelerate discovery, and support day-to-day product work.
  • Aligning and prioritizing new discovery and implementation workstreams by quarter, driven by ROI and alignment to the strategic product roadmap.
  • Analyzing and providing value-driven customer and business solutions to existing problems and new features and functions, tracking success criteria after launch.
  • Tracking competitor activity and market trends, feeding relevant insights into roadmap and strategy discussions.
  • Managing relationships with external partners, working with them directly to align on shared goals and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Working within agile methodologies using Atlassian suite of software and attending daily stand-ups, planning, and refinement with the development team.
  • Assessing and communicating the impact of incidents and bugs, and owning the initial filtering of issues ensuring a quick and effective resolution with the engineering team.
  • Digging into web funnel and product analytics directly to identify opportunity areas and the impact of changes.
  • Assisting and working closely with the Senior Product Manager during the product discovery phase and supporting alignment against wider strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial mindset: able to prioritize based on ROI and impact, and make the case for trade-offs to stakeholders.
  • Ability to keep an eye on the competitive landscape, tracking competitors and new technologies and using that insight to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day workflow for prototyping, accelerating discovery and research, or supporting analysis and documentation.
  • Ability to get hands-on with data: querying databases directly or working closely with analytics to understand web funnel performance, drop-off points, and conversion, and provide rationale for workstreams and the 'why' behind prioritization.
  • Confident managing partner relationships, working directly with external partners to align on goals and deliver good outcomes.
  • Ability to connect business goals with customer outcomes and vice versa, covering end-to-end across web and app.
  • Thrive working with ambiguity and change, adaptive to shifting business and customer priorities, managing multiple workstreams, working to deadlines, and adapting to change and pace.
  • Comfortable working with platform, internal tooling, and API-based technologies that enable customer experiences across web and app channels.
