About the Role
A 19-year-old male in Syracuse is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist him with community activities. He enjoys horses, dining out, concerts, sports, and baseball. The ideal candidate is positive, open to new experiences, and will support him in exploring the community.
Responsibilities
- Support an individual with community activities.
- Assist with activities such as dining out, attending concerts, and sports events.
- Engage in activities related to the individual's interests including horses, sports, and baseball.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community.
- Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills.
- New York State Driver's license required.
- Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance required.
- Acceptable driving record required.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
