About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a government location. This role involves conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring access points, and providing professional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, documenting arrivals, incidents, and other required information.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with leadership and site representatives regarding incidents, patrol findings, and security concerns.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
