About the Role
Community Hosts are a high-touch workplace experience team providing proactive service to foster staff engagement and improve employee productivity and experience. They are the heart of our Workplace, acting as experience curators who create moments of delight and care through memorable, anticipatory and personalized human interactions. They play a pivotal part in delivering an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive premises inspections and floor walks, ensuring all areas are clean, orderly, and ready for use.
- Proactively raise work orders and provide status updates, addressing cleanliness issues.
- Serve as the main point of contact for general inquiries, escalations, and feedback, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Monitor customer feedback and develop action plans.
- Own the operational space to ensure a positive customer service journey.
- Ensure all signage and messages are current and relevant, including outage notices.
- Maintain up-to-date wayfinding and zoning maps and support internal occupancy data collection.
- Provide support for locker management, including issuance, reclamation, and utilization review.
- Ensure desks are ready each morning and promote clean desk practices.
- Operationally support change management activities throughout the workplace lifecycle.
- Ensure all agreed service objectives are met in line with client expectations.
- Host regular business engagement sessions to understand business needs and support hybrid working adoption.
- Maintain effective business relationships with clients and end-users, acting as the face of the Workplace/Property team.
- Stay current on relevant EUS technology and assist end-users with inquiries, including AV and VC.
- Host and promote employee engagement events, including lunch & learns and wellness activities.
- Activate and promote the wellbeing, fitness, and recreation agenda.
- Assist with internal communications, including cascading information and managing local intranet pages.
- Support employees working remotely through virtual engagement events and inquiries.
- Welcome new joiners and provide orientation tours and supporting documentation.
- Ensure full statutory and operational compliance in line with contract KPIs.
- Be aware of changing customer needs and adjust service accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with H&S processes and procedures.
- Provide an excellent standard of client service.
- Support and manage the meeting room booking system.
- Ensure seamless communication with hospitality/GRH teams for meetings and events.
- Provide administrative and financial support as required.
- Provide written reports and quality data.
- Fulfill any other reasonable requests.
Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and oral).
- Passionate about people and providing great experiences.
- Natural 'people person' with exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Access).
- Previous Hospitality/co-working experience preferred (minimum 3 years).
- Previous events experience favored.
- High attention to detail.
- Flexible and proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to react quickly and decisively.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Exceptionally organized and skilled in multi-tasking.
- Outstanding time management skills.
