About the Role

This role involves the ingestion and delivery of licensed data to clients using in-house software. It includes database backup/restore, application installation and configuration, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and failover management. The position requires a meticulous individual who can follow instructions, adapt to a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment, and supervise application processes and logs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage deployment infrastructure within cloud and datacenter environments.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to ensure reliable application deployment.
  • Design and monitor cloud resources.
  • Address infrastructure issues and provide technical support to development teams.
  • Coordinate efforts between product design, development, and business operations for new product launches.
  • Create and maintain organization's infrastructure.
  • Deploy automation and reduce risk management.
  • Streamline code releases and enhance system reliability and scalability.
  • Manage Azure DevOps tools and services.
  • Ensure smooth code integration and automate processes.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software builds, testing, and deployment.
  • Use tools like Terraform or ARM templates for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Set up monitoring solutions (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights) for system performance tracking and issue detection.
  • Ensure security best practices, manage access controls, and maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, DORA).
  • Work closely with software developers to understand requirements, provide guidance on DevOps practices, and assist with deployment issues.
  • Learn and use groundbreaking technologies.
  • Apply sophisticated fix techniques to provide solutions to customer needs.
  • Interact with leading engineers globally.
  • Drive improvements, influence architecture decisions, and shape support strategy for a business-critical data platform.
  • Modernize data estate and guide the transition to cloud-native platforms.
  • Work multi-functionally with guides in data engineering, DevOps, and analytics.
  • Support systems that drive real-time business decisions and impact users across departments.

Requirements

  • Graduates (B.Sc/M.Sc Computer Science, B.CA/ MCA, B.E) with a proven track record in Application support or technical operation.
