About the Role

  • Teach practical statistical thinking and analysis of data for a specific purpose and within a specific context.
  • Conduct research at an undergraduate institution, potentially involving undergraduate students.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment for all students.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in statistics by September 2027.
  • Strong teaching credentials in undergraduate statistics.
  • A record of scholarly achievement suggesting a continuing commitment to scholarship in any sub-fields within statistics.
  • Strong theoretical background in statistics.
  • Practical experience in addressing real problems with statistics.
  • Finalists for hire will undergo a background check that includes education, employment, and criminal convictions.
