About the Role

As part of the Cash Prime Brokerage team, the individual will be responsible for optimizing and facilitating growth for the Fixed Income Prime Broker product. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams to develop the platform, manage risk, acquire new clients, and enhance the overall FIPB offering.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor key risk mitigants including new and existing client portfolio analysis.
  • Analyze client clearing deposits and monitor potential exposure on future settlements.
  • Provide intraday and end-of-day cash reporting.
  • Partner with in-business risk and credit on client reviews.
  • Facilitate solutions for clients with Middle Office and Client Service teams regarding daily trading activity, new markets, and client issues.
  • Partner with sales to grow market share with existing clients.
  • Facilitate seamless client onboarding.
  • Collaborate with technology and product development to provide platform and client solutions and streamline processes.
  • Assist with monitoring platform financial resources, including optimizing RWAs, balance sheet, credit line usage, and liquidity.
  • Report to management on client and product profitability, trends, and return profiles.
  • Partner with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline, and ethics.
  • Assess risk/reward of transactions and ensure team members understand the need to do the same, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.
  • Adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services, and ensure team members understand the need to do the same.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by the role.
  • Obtain and maintain all required registrations/licenses within the appropriate timeframe.
  • Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years structuring experience from a financial institution
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
  • Must be able to obtain the Series 7, 63
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple functional groups in a cohesive manner
