About the Role

As a Washdown, Blowdown & Park Cleanliness Supervisor at Great Escape, you will play a key role in ensuring the park is clean, safe, and guest-ready prior to daily opening. This is a highly hands-on working supervisor position responsible for completing and coordinating early-morning Park Services cleanliness tasks, including blowdown, washdown, pressure washing, parking lot cleaning, and trash servicing. Success in this role requires a willingness to actively perform cleaning duties while setting the standard for park readiness in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee pre-opening park cleanliness operations, ensuring all midways, guest areas, entrances, and high-traffic zones meet established standards prior to opening.
  • Actively participate in leaf blowing (blowdown) and fire hosing (washdown) of park walkways and midways.
  • Complete and coordinate pressure washing projects as scheduled or assigned.
  • Clean and inspect parking lots, ensuring they are debris-free and guest-ready each morning.
  • Perform trash servicing duties, including changing, relocating, and maintaining trash cans throughout the park.
  • Operate Park Services equipment such as blowers, pressure washers, fire hoses, and related tools.
  • Serve as a working example by consistently demonstrating proper cleaning techniques, safety practices, and work ethic.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including cleanliness checklists, work orders, equipment logs, and training records.
  • Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of chemicals and SDS materials according to company guidelines.
  • Support overall Park Services operations by assisting with additional tasks or shifts as operational needs require.
  • Contribute directly to a positive Guest experience by ensuring the park opens each day clean, polished, and welcoming.
  • Lead by example with a hands-on, working approach, spending the majority of time actively completing cleaning tasks.
  • Manage time-sensitive responsibilities to ensure all pre-opening work is completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Communicate clearly with Operations and Park Services leadership regarding progress, challenges, and equipment or supply needs.
  • Use problem-solving skills to address cleanliness, equipment, or workflow issues as they arise.
  • Maintain organized work areas, equipment storage, and supply locations to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, accountability, and a strong work ethic in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Availability to work park operating days with a minimum schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Willingness and ability to perform physical, hands-on cleaning work as a primary job function.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills in English (reading, speaking, and understanding).
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a Park Driver's License.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and minor repair is preferred, including pressure washers, blowers, hoses, and related cleaning equipment.
