About the Role
Harris Beach Murtha is seeking Class of 2028 law students for a 10-week summer program in their New York City office. Summer associates will gain experience in Mass Torts and Industry-Wide Litigation, focusing on product liability, negligence, and toxic torts. Each associate will be paired with a partner and an associate mentor for guidance and support.
Responsibilities
- Work on writing and research assignments involving product liability, negligence, and toxic torts.
- Engage in professional and social activities.
- Navigate firm culture with mentor guidance.
Requirements
- Class of 2028 J.D. student enrolled at an ABA accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials; Top 25% of law school class and 3.0+ GPA preferred.
- Law journal, review and/or moot court experience preferred.
- Interest in starting a legal career post-graduation in NYC.
- Resume submission.
- Cover letter submission (Include preference for and ties to NYC).
- Law school transcript submission.
- Writing sample submission.
