About the Role

Harris Beach Murtha is seeking Class of 2028 law students for a 10-week summer program in their New York City office. Summer associates will gain experience in Mass Torts and Industry-Wide Litigation, focusing on product liability, negligence, and toxic torts. Each associate will be paired with a partner and an associate mentor for guidance and support.

Responsibilities

• Work on writing and research assignments involving product liability, negligence, and toxic torts.
• Engage in professional and social activities.
• Navigate firm culture with mentor guidance.

Requirements

• Class of 2028 J.D. student enrolled at an ABA accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials; Top 25% of law school class and 3.0+ GPA preferred.
• Law journal, review and/or moot court experience preferred.
• Interest in starting a legal career post-graduation in NYC.
• Resume submission.
• Cover letter submission (Include preference for and ties to NYC).
• Law school transcript submission.
• Writing sample submission.
