About the Role
We are seeking innovative, self-starting individuals with a passion for the bus industry to join our Engineering teams as Advanced Engineers (HGV/PSV Technicians Level 3) across our London Depots. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of buses.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, repairing and maintaining our buses.
- Investigating and diagnosing any mechanical and electronic faults.
- Recording faults and repair work using a tablet.
- Following safety instructions and reporting any issues.
Requirements
- Ability to meet deadlines and work flexibly.
- Ability to work well using your own initiative.
- Good standard of Maths and English.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and service manuals.
- Willingness to undertake any training requested by the service manager.
Skills
- NVQ or City and Guilds level 3 qualification for maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or equivalent international qualification).
- PCV licence is desired but not essential.
- Knowledge of fleet management technical computer systems.
- Teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work from different depots or shifts.
- IRTEC in service maintenance technician, inspection technician and advanced technician (training provided if not held).
