About the Role
This role is integral to supporting our fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly expanding business across Europe. As part of our European Legal team, you will act as a trusted advisor across multiple jurisdictions, navigating complex legal frameworks, supporting business strategy, and shaping our internal processes. You will play a key role in adopting cutting-edge legal technologies to drive efficiency while ensuring our commercial agreements meet regulatory requirements, applicable laws, and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and contractual due diligences across multiple European jurisdictions, ensuring strict compliance with local laws, company policies, and data protection regulations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and legal expert across European jurisdictions, delivering clear, practical, and responsive legal guidance to internal stakeholders and cross-functional business teams.
- Assess and optimize contract processes, continuously identifying areas to improve templates, streamline contract lifecycles, and mitigate contractual risks.
- Drive the adoption and implementation of Legal Tech, incorporating AI and CLM solutions for automated contract review, risk assessment, and contract management to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Develop and deliver training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal departments, simplifying complex legal terminology and empowering business teams on contract risks and processes.

Requirements
- A seasoned legal professional with a Law Degree from a European country and at least 8 years of experience handling commercial contracts, with significant time spent in-house or within a multinational environment.
- A bilingual communicator with advanced, fluent proficiency in both Italian and English (fluency in Spanish or French is a clear plus).
- A Legal Tech enthusiast with practical experience implementing, training, or significantly using AI-powered contract review, CLM systems, or legal automation tools.
- An expert in European contract law with deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks and the proven ability to navigate multi-jurisdictional legal environments.
- A strategic and collaborative partner skilled at working alongside cross-functional teams, explaining complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to non-legal stakeholders.
- A proactive problem solver with solid business acumen, strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- An adaptable and self-motivated professional with excellent organizational skills to independently manage, prioritize, and execute multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience in commercial contract negotiation across European jurisdictions is mandatory.
- Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.
