About the Role
Advise, guide, and provide insights to IT Leaders within the Education sector. Assist executives in optimizing decision-making, mitigating risk, and addressing challenges for personal and professional excellence.
Responsibilities
- Service a portfolio of 20-25 clients within the Education sector in any 12-month period.
- Participate in unstructured value-based client conversations and create new methods for client success.
- Provide confidential and professional advising to members in-person and digitally.
- Evaluate member needs, set objectives, and develop strategies and work plans.
- Embrace a culture of continuous learning through self and industry development activities.
- Provide proactive thought leadership and new ideas on behalf of the client’s membership.
- Participate in regular communication and support efforts with Sales Leadership and Account Directors.
- Leverage Info-Tech Research Group (ITRG) and 3rd party assets to deliver on membership promises.
- Diagnose member value expectations and pain points, connecting them with appropriate ITRG product solutions.
- Provide statistical and summary reports reflecting service KPIs, continuous improvement, and strategic/operational goals.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 15 years of professional Education or consulting experience (or a combination).
- Demonstrated experience working within the Education sector (K-12, higher education, or education-adjacent organizations), with understanding of core business models, industry trends, and technology challenges.
- Must have IT operational leadership experience; preferably CIO leadership experience.
- Solid people relationship management skills.
- Operational and systems development skills.
- Experience in proposal writing, financial budgeting, management, and reporting.
- In-depth understanding of various industry executive management roles, politics, human behavior, and predictive scenarios related to IT leadership.
- Ability to coordinate complex service delivery models and respond to diverse stakeholder needs.
- Exceptional customer service focus, high professionalism, and adherence to ethical principles of conduct.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; self-starter.
- Ability to adhere to member and ITRG core values as a trusted executive.
- Strong verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%-50% of the time, as needed.
- Ability to obtain a TN1 Visa.
