About the Role

Join Easterseals Central Texas as an Early Intervention Specialist in Central Texas, providing discipline-specific services to infants and toddlers and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide routines-based Specialized Skills Training and/or family training to infants and toddlers ages 0-3, and their parents.
• Provide hands-on or direct training of skills, documentation, billing, competencies, and theory as assigned.
• Offer case management services to families, including identifying social service needs for appropriate community referral.
• Maintain communication with the main office throughout work hours.
• Initiate and maintain contact with children's physicians for obtaining and updating necessary medical information.
• Assist and facilitate the work of team members, other departments, and agency managers in attaining organizational goals.
• Attend staff meetings, agency and ECI team in-services, and training.
• Complete continuing education required for certification/licensure and renew as necessary.
• Update Human Resources on all needed documentation regularly as required by agency standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development, Special Education, Psychology, or a related Humanities field.
• Two years’ experience working with infants and toddlers, preferably children with special needs.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
