About the Role
The Talent Management Partner is a strategic individual contributor responsible for designing and executing talent management and leadership development initiatives. This role manages key programs like performance check-ins, organizational development, and learning management system operations, driving a high-performance culture and developing leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business line leaders on employee career pathing and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
- Manage the administration and tracking of talent management processes including objective setting, performance reviews, and 9-box assessments.
- Administer courses and report on learning initiatives using the Docebo learning management system.
- Create job aids, tools, and training materials for talent management and leadership development programs.
- Develop and deliver e-Learning modules in alignment with industry standards like ADDIE or SAM and adult learning theory.
- Serve as the main point of contact for enterprise regulatory compliance training administration and reporting.
- Create and deliver presentations to leaders on leadership competencies, soft skills, and management topics.
- Oversee the administration and recordkeeping of the organization’s Tuition Reimbursement Program.
- Develop learning paths to enhance departmental capabilities in collaboration with business line leaders.
- Administer surveys using Microsoft Forms and SurveyMonkey to gather insights on development needs.
- Analyze survey, HRIS (ADP), and learning management system data to determine program effectiveness and identify improvements.
- Create and monitor internal communications for organizational talent initiatives.
- Serve as a change agent and ambassador for enterprise-wide change management initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships to enhance HR's role as a trusted advisor and demonstrate ROI for organizational development initiatives.
- Demonstrate the Five Star Bank experience standards and high-performance behaviors in all interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive human resources experience including organizational development, industrial organizational psychology, learning and development, and/or leadership development.
- Experience within financial services, healthcare, insurance, and other heavily regulated fields preferred.
- Demonstrated effective facilitation skills.
- Ability to work across multiple business units.
- Ability to critically think and problem solve.
- Knowledge of best practices in adult learning, instructional design, and organizational development.
- Ability to work with, communicate and train leaders individually or in groups.
- Ability to analyze and report on the outcomes and efficacy of talent development programs.
- Ability to coach and guide senior-to-executive level leaders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with human resources information systems and reporting.
- Ability to work with and manage highly sensitive and confidential data with discretion.
- Proven ability to develop professional presentations and train employees.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
- Ability to learn and utilize new banking software applications.
- Experience with business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau) and instructional design programs (Adobe Captivate, Articulate) is a plus.
- Able to regularly sit for prolonged periods.
- Able to accommodate occasional travel (10-20%).
- Extensive computer usage is required.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
