About the Role

As a Senior Cost Manager, you will lead the delivery of cost management services across a range of corporate occupier projects from feasibility through to completion. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic commercial guidance while ensuring successful project outcomes across cost, quality, programme and risk.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-contract and post-contract cost management services on corporate fit-out and workplace projects.
  • Develop detailed cost plans, budgets and feasibility estimates.
  • Provide strategic cost advice, value engineering and commercial risk management.
  • Prepare and present cost reports to senior client stakeholders.
  • Manage procurement and tendering processes.
  • Oversee change control and project financial governance.
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts.
  • Support multi-country and EMEA-wide client programmes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, workplace consultants and account teams to deliver best-in-class client outcomes.
  • Contribute to bids, business development initiatives and client presentations.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the Cost Management team.

Requirements

  • MRICS qualified.
  • Significant experience in cost management within consultancy, project management or professional services environments.
  • Strong background delivering corporate fit-out, workplace or occupier-led projects.
  • Demonstrable experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
  • Excellent cost planning, reporting and commercial management skills.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership teams and corporate clients.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
  • Experience working across UK and EMEA projects or portfolios.
  • Knowledge of governance-led delivery models and corporate real estate programmes.
  • Experience supporting major occupier clients and multi-market assignments.
