About the Role
Join Change Grow Live (CGL) as an IPS Senior Employment Specialist and lead a pioneering initiative focused on guiding individuals towards meaningful employment during their recovery journey. This role utilizes the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model to ensure sustainable paid work aligned with client preferences. Extensive training and continuous support are provided.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-quality service adhering to IPS best practice principles.
- Monitor and manage the performance of IPS Employment Specialists, guiding them on best practice and job outcome targets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Identify staff training needs and arrange appropriate professional development.
- Support the design and delivery of in-house staff training, including facilitating peer learning.
- Involve service users in co-production of service developments.
- Coordinate Employment Specialists in building employer relationships and accessing the labour market.
- Produce regular monitoring reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to promote and establish the service across Waltham Forest.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication skills for effective relationship building.
- Proficient in team management and support strategies.
- Aptitude in data collection and reporting for IPS services.
- Dedication to assisting individuals secure paid employment.
- Proven ability to connect with individuals, especially those affected by substance misuse.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
