About the Role

Change Grow Live is seeking a Team Leader to manage the data admin team in Newham. This role involves ensuring service users have a safe space for support and treatment, managing administrative staff, and overseeing data quality and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Line management of administrative staff, including supervision, appraisal, performance, and sickness management.
  • Ensuring staff adhere to CGL and external policies.
  • Providing clear and concise advice, information, and reports.
  • Producing accurate data reporting in line with Home Office, OHID, and commissioner requirements.
  • Sharing information sensitively within protocols with various agencies.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for data-related matters and fulfilling requests from leadership.
  • Contributing to the management of an effective appointments system and office administration.
  • Promoting the benefits of smoking cessation services.
  • Maintaining strong governance and monitoring systems to ensure high-quality service and professional standards.
  • Delivering training to staff and volunteers on administrative requirements and data recording.
  • Providing additional administration support for operational needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in line management, with the ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team.
  • Experience in carrying out statistical analysis of data/information.
  • IT literacy and experience using data management systems.
  • Proficiency in word processing, data entry, and maintaining databases.
  • Familiarity with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience managing office and administration functions.
  • A professional, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude towards service users.
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering services that evidence high performance and quality standards.
  • Willingness to stay updated on local and national trends and undertake training.
  • Understanding of the harmful effects associated with smoking.
  • Clear understanding of data protection, information sharing, and confidentiality issues.
  • Excellent minute-taking skills.
  • Experience chairing team meetings.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and procedures.
  • Experience in the effective use of leading on supervision.
