About the Role
Aba Austin is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and lead service with front-of-house teams in a high-volume, full-service Mediterranean restaurant with a California influence.
Responsibilities
- Run shifts and lead daily restaurant operations.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and conduct operational checks.
- Oversee opening and closing shifts to ensure exceptional guest and employee experiences.
- Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams, fostering a Culture of Caring.
- Respond effectively to guest and employee needs and feedback.
- Assist in managing costs, driving sales, and supporting financial goals.
- Partner with management to hire, train, and develop employees.
- Perform inventories, place orders, and manage deliveries for food, beverage, and supplies.
- Promote teamwork across all teams.
- Handle guest, vendor, and employee challenges with tact and courtesy.
- Work varied shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
