About the Role

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Production Head for its Pharmacy Team. This role involves leading one of the UK's most innovative hospital pharmacy manufacturing services, utilizing a fully integrated, closed-loop unit-dose medication system. This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a cutting-edge production service at the forefront of pharmacy practice in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Act as a named Head of Production (MS, MIA(IMP)), ensuring compliance with MHRA and Home Office regulations.
• Provide strategic leadership for manufacturing services, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
• Lead the delivery of a high-quality unit dose production service.
• Lead Production responsibilities within the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Hold delegated responsibility for production budgets and resources.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Pharmaceutical Science, Technology, or Quality Assurance (Essential)
• Significant experience in GMP-Compliant Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Essential)
• Named Head of Production experience on an MHRA licence (Essential)
• Quality Improvement or training qualification (Essential)

Skills

• GPhC Registration as Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist (Desirable)
• Accredited Product Approver / releasing officer status (Desirable)
