About the Role

This role is a production support position for large industrial superconducting MRI magnets, interfacing with production management, quality engineering, design engineering, supplier quality engineering, and production technicians. It offers an opportunity to develop a wide range of engineering skills in a medical device environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide production support for large industrial superconducting MRI magnets.
  • Interface with production management, quality engineering, design engineering, supplier quality engineering, and production technicians.
  • Develop a wide range of engineering skills in a medical device environment.

Requirements

  • Must be able to successfully perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.

  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to Lathem, NY.

Skills

  • Root cause analysis of production process failures
  • Troubleshooting production equipment issues
  • Process validation documentation including PFMEA, IQ, TMV, OQ/PQ
  • Statistical analysis of process data
  • Tooling and fixture design
  • Understanding of geometric dimension and tolerancing on mechanical drawings
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Great written and oral communication skills

Salary/Compensations

  • $70,000 to $111,000 per year
